  • Version number: 3.7.1
  • Stability: Stable

- Encrypted Assertions are now fully supported
- Signing of SSO and SLO has been completely refactored
- NameID format can be set in the server information

- Made the IDP admin form a bit more readable, by using styling to need less fieldsets on screen
- Allow SSO to co-exist with the regular login with a setting
- Improved store specific settings to be able to update/create customers and addresses
- Removed unneeded legacy settings in the store specific settings

We wanted to improve the mappings for a long time, as currently it was "internal" => "external" direct mapping only.
It was unclear to customers which fields could be mapped, so instead of text input, we changed the internal mapping to EAV exposed attributes.

How to configure it after installation on my magento CE 1.7.2?

I have installed this module in my magento CE 1.7.2. Now I want to implement it with my wordpress site. So, please tell the procedure to configure it. Is there any idp server need to be configure? If yes then guide me please. Thanks in advance. :)
Asked by: bibek
Sorry for the late response as we dont receive notifications on FAQ from Magento. I hope you managed to get it done, but you need a Wordpress plugin for SAML2 to connect to the same Identity Provider as you set in Magento. If you want your wordpress site to act as an identity provider, you should probably setup a SimpleSAMLPhp installation on the site, that fetches the users from your wordpress database and connect to that. Good luck and drop us an email if you have any more questions.

About the Developer

This extension was developed by and is supported by Wizkunde

Single Sign-On with SAML2.0 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible and fast support We've integrated our Magento 1.9 store with ADFS 2.0 whereas we had to update to ADFS 3.0 at a later stage. We purchased the Integration Service from Wizkunde and they have helped us to make this transition without many issues and in a fast pace. We had some problems getting all the information from ADFS properly exposed in a way that Magento could deal with it, but after some minor bugfixes and testing we managed to resolve this and the integration worked as a breeze. This extension, or the integration service which we bought is definitely worth the investment. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Support & Functionality We have been using the SSO extension by Wizkunde for a large e-commerce project for a University in Sydney and have found it to be reliable stable and highly effective. When we needed some cusomising work the Wizkunde team were very fast to respond and provided fantastic service. I would not hesitate to recommend their extensions and service and support to any company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would shy away from purchasing this extension! I recently purchased this extension with high hopes of it providing SSO through SAML. While the installation of the extension is straightforward, your pleasurable experience will end soon after. There is no detailed documentation available to assist with the Identity Provider configuration you need in place to communicate with this extension. The Service Provider configuration is entered via the Magento admin panel; however there is no additional documentation as to how to setup your SAML Identity Provider side. The extension will simply not work in just entering in the Service Provider side information via the Magento Admin panel. Furthermore, Wizkunde does not have an established support department or channel for that matter. You will get bounced around to one guy named Ron, who is extremely unresponsive. At the end of the day, you will end up with an extension that doesn't have end-to-end documentation in place, and with no support line for assistance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works really well We purchased this extension to link Magento Enterprise to a SAML compliant single sign on server. Single Sign-on is a complex area but the developer was available by mail and phone. In a few hours we had the SSO Claims configured and it works flawlessly. If you want SSO you want this extension

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work out of the box, and the Developer is no where to be found There are numerous PHP errors in this extension, it breaks the default Magento Configuration screen, the instruction PDF is clearly wrong as it references a completely different extension, the autoloader is not written to accommodate the extensions file structure. Also have tried numerous times (four now) to contact Wizkunde but have not received a single response. I cannot recommend using this extension. Save your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works as designed!! We bought this plugin with the hope that it would help us use Magento with an external login process and still manage the e-commerce account. We were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install considering its complexity. We did have some questions based on some requirements for our project. I have to say once we purchased the product, Wizkunde called us to ask if we had an questions or needed any help. They were very open to help us and therefore successful. We would recommend the plug-in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! A developer who will actually work WITH you to ensure that everything runs smoothly We had a little trouble getting this extension working with our unique set up. NO WORRIES. The developer was incredibly friendly, and worked with our schedule to ensure that we could get everything working perfectly. I wish more extensions at Magento came with support like this one. OH and the extension itself is coded nicely, easy to follow, comes with great, understandable documentation, and works!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple admin and works well The set up is a breeze. Be careful to use both name fields and the e-mail field when setting it up. I did not use the custom / address fields, but creating a new user account within the website (or not depending upon settings) is a nice feature. Follow the document to the T and use the metadata parser before trying to set it up yourself.
