osCommerce Migration Tool

When a company enters the next stage of its growth and needs to make a move to a more robust eCommerce solution, it’s time for the osCommerce Migration Tool. This module allows developers to easily migrate a company’s eCommerce store data from the free, early stage osCommerce platform to Magento.

Please note: This extension is no longer maintained by the Magento team. It is provided only for backward compatibility and is not tested with recent Magento releases. It might not work at all or may require minor or significant changes to make the two platforms compatible. We strongly recommend against using this extension for anything other than research purposes.

Does this extension also create 301 Redirects?

I am looking to use this extension and I am curious there is capability in this extension to write URL redirects to the Magento URL Rewrite Manager so that the old URL's map to the new magento URLs?

Rated out of 5 by from This has been build so that if you have an actual store with many products (360 000 products, 4000 categories with 6 languages in our case). It's almost impossible to have enough memory on the server to get this running through.
