Are Google sales feed back to Magento?

When products are sold on Google, is the sale fed back to Magento and stock levels updated in Magento? Or this only a one way feed to Google?
Asked by: h22solutionsltd
Google will list your products for sale but when a customer attempts to make a purchase they are directed to your site. Magento is still responsible for displaying and selling the product. Stock levels are updated in Magento just like all other sales on your site.

Issues Generating Data Feed

Hi there I am having trouble generating a feed from the admin panel, I have been able to generate multiple feeds in the past. When I press "Generate Feed Now" a new window opens and then nothing, it doesn't time out it just displays a blank window. I have left this window open for over 12 hours and still no indication of anything. Can anyone suggest anything to try? I'm quite desperate and need to get this issue fixed. Callum
Asked by: FTG_Cal
If generating the feed file from the extension seems to be timing out you may have to increase the memory in php or the max execution time. Also, please make sure that there is enough space where the feed file is written to. In addition, check the apache error logs and see if increasing the apache timeout setting. If you are still having trouble please submit a ticket at and we would be more than happy to help.

Update to Multiple Feeds question

Does your extension support multiple simultaneous feeds for different countries? An example would be an account with 1 Canada feed and 1 USA feed. Is this available or on your road map? If on the road map can you advise when we can expect this be available? Thanks Nick
Asked by: Deniro72
We have a version in beta now that allows for this. It will be released within a month. If you purchase before this, you can ask for the 2.0 version by opening a support ticket with your order number at

how to set up this extension ?

I did't get the place where I will enter google credentials (account id and password). I searched on internet they mention the steps: 1) select System > Configuration 2) under Sales, select the Google API tab. 3) Click to expand the Google Shopping section. but i did't get google shopping section in magento. I am using Magento CE- So without google credentials , How this extension link products with google. Thanks.
Asked by: rupesh_kumar
Our extension does not use the Google API but rather generates a text based feed on your server. This feed can then be updated via cron on a nightly basis. When you log into Google Merchant Center you can then point Google to this feed and tell it to fetch the feed each day as well.

Multiple feeds

Is it possible to generate/manage multiple feeds (for the different websites) ?
Asked by: leeroybrun
On Feb. 17, 2015 Rocketweb's support gave the following response to my similar inquiry: Inquiry: "Does your extension support multiple simultaneous feeds for different countries? An example would be an account with 1 Canada feed and 1 USA feed." Response: "As of the latest version each store view can only generate 1 feed so if you have different store views that correlate to different countries then our extension would work in this instance. We will be releasing a version that outputs multiple feeds per store view but additional steps would need to be taken for targeting different countries with multiple feeds since certain countries have different specifications."

Getting 404 Error when selecting the plugin in configuration page

I'm getting a "404 page not found" error when I try to enter the tab of the plugin in Systems >> Configuration. I've followed the instructions provided and replaced the files via FTP and I've also flushed the cache. Can you please advise what I need to do to fix this issue.

Yes, this can happen sometimes when installing extensions. If you log out of the admin and log back in, the issue should fix itself.

How does the per-store license work?

Is the license based on number of Magento installs? Or by the number of stores on the same Magento install?
Asked by: RedNinja
This is licensed per Magento install. So if you have 100 stores views in a single Magento install that's one license. If you have 2 stores, each with separate Magento admin login locations, that's 2 licenses.
