Rated 0 out of 5 by mgerrardbr Nice plugin except for one issue - Our main navigation items have a nasty habit of disappearing!
Scrolling down this list of reviews it seems we're not the only people with this problem... is there a fix?
Without a solution we will be forced to consider alternatives :(

Rated 0 out of 5 by ivandude Written on 19 Nov 2012, using Magento 1.6.x (purposely using older version for some plugins rather than 1.7).
I followed the manual install details from their website, and this package works great. It converted all my menus automatically. Just follow the right details, flush at the right part, etc, and you will be fine. The people complaining are just a bit slow, and did not follow instructions.

Rated 0 out of 5 by marco520 This extension doesn't seem to work with 1.7. Every time I enabled the custom menu extension, the frontend links went missing and nothing shows up. I am using the Classic theme.

Rated 0 out of 5 by Hanneke83 How do I add pages to the menu? I want to add i.e. contact, information and blog. Tried to edit the top.phtml file but that doesn't work. My links get bullet points and don't line up with the rest of the menu.
Great extension by the way, if I just could get this to work.

Rated 0 out of 5 by raulsanchez Great work
However, we've noticed some strange behaviour when setting the submenu columns
We've fixed this by changing the explodeByColumns() function at WP_CustomMenu_Block_Navigation
Changing the line...
if ($count) $target = array_chunk($target, ceil($count / $num));
if ($count) $target = array_chunk($target, max(floor($count / $num),1));
Does the trick

Downloaded custom menu and installed. Followed online instructions, got the 404 page, cleared cache, refreshed all cache, enabled in backend but no custom menu showing.
When installing does any files have to be copied to custom theme folders as well as to default folders?
Have recently upgraded to v1.6.2 before going to 1.7 and have a custom theme/template but nothing that has changed basic installed menu structure. No ref to custom menu links appear in page source.
Have tried on a test site with default config and ok so must be something relating to custom theme but can't see what!
