The extension is free, but users have to pay to use the extension. There is no explanation and description here. If you want to use it for free, don't waste your time.

This Mage extension is a good add-on for existing Zendesk customers. Some reviewers mistakenly think they're getting full Zendesk access; that's not what's being offered here.
The extension does what we needed it to do, i.e., show us a list of all Zendesk tickets for a customer in the admin interface. We don't use the frontend functionality the extension provides, so I can't comment on that.
We did discover one nasty bug that we reported this week. If Zendesk is down (as it was on 8/26 for ~1 hour), this extension will cause the Mage customer detail page to crash, because it is wrongly assuming that it will always get a response. That should be fixed in a future version, please.

Had some problems installing, which Zendesk help desk solved pretty fast. They then had some problem with the module where Zendesk Magento experts needed to have a look, and it was solved in a couple of days.
Seeing the customer and order data in Zendesk is nothing short of fantastic.
We are signing up for Zendesk. Their starting price is perfect for us.
Thanks to the help desk at Zendesk! Suggestion: Please add a way to auto-import contact emails to different Mailchimp lists.

I recently subscribed to zendesk and tried to install this extension on our magento website to enable the integration between the two.
On installing the extension it crashed the website. I tried to contact zendesk support and they do not have any experience in magento. Now this seems strange as they advertise the product for magento and have an extension for magento.
My support tickets with zendesk are not being responded to and they just seem to be ignoring me.
Now zendesk is not a cheap solution if you intend to use one of their higher packages with multiple users. You would at least expect good customer service in return for a high monthly fee with them but instead nothing!!!
This is a company that bases it's product on customer services. It's shocking that they can't even provide customer services themselves. So much for lead by example!!!

This extension is superb, works very well and well integrated. Tweaking the set up takes a bit of time, but not that long. I particularly like the 'Create Ticket' on each order, and the ticket summary for each customer. Zendesk is a very powerful tool in its own right, and I fell this extension will get even better over time. The Feedback tab and the chat functionality alone make this a great application. Add in the group settings and analytics on the Zendesk side and it's pretty unbeatable for the price.

Works well with Magento 1.7. It really is a great extension! We have tried multiple ticketing systems for Magento, but this when will eventually save you time and will give you control over all voice/email/facebook/twitter communication.
Currently there are still some issues with loading Magento orders in Zendesk and with Single Sign On (SSO).
However, the Zendesk team promised us that they will work out these issues soon. Communication with them went fine and they are on it.
