Magento Common Installation Problem in Windows
Here are some of the common problems encounters when you tried to install Magento into Windows machine.
Problem 1: The requested URL /install/ was not found on this server. Problem 2: 500 internal server error. Problem 3: PHP Extension “mcrypt” must be loaded. Problem 4: PHP Extension “curl” must be loaded
System Setup: • Windows XP Professional SP2 (Windows NT 5.1 build 2600) • PHP version 5.2.4 • Apache/1.3.33 (Win32) • Mysql version 5.0.45 • PhpMyAdmin version 2.6.2-pl1
