Setting Up Magento In Cron

Login to cPanel for your domain, and click on the Cron jobs icon.

Click on the Standard button.

For the Command to run, enter the path to the cron.php script, which is located in the directory where Magento is installed.

For example, if Magento is installed in the root web directory, you would put the following in:

php -f /home/<username>/public_html/cron.php

If it is installed in a subdirectory, like store, you would do the following:

php -f /home/<username>/public_html/store/cron.php

Replace <username> with the appropriate value.

For the other options, leave everything at the default setting with the exception of the Day(s) group. Set this value to 1.

Now the cron script will run daily at 3 AM.
