How to place a Daisycon tracking code on your thankyou page
This is an old revision of the document!
Starting an affiliate program with Daisycon is surprisingly simple. You supply your online marketing specialist [http://www.daisycon.com/en/channel/] with promotional material. If you do not have any promotional material available, Daisycon can help you develop it. Affiliate marketing is a form of performance based online marketing. This means that payment is only due once a transaction has been completed. The most common method of registering transactions makes use of tracking codes. This code should be placed on your website’s thank-you page. Once this has been implemented, your affiliate program is up and running.
To place the Daisycon tracking code on your thankyou page of your magento shop you need to add the following code to /app/design/frontend/default/yourtemplate/checkout/success.phtml
- - Place the tracking code (pixel) below the “Thank you for your purchase” text
- Be sure that you place the tracking code on the template you are using in your magento shop - The tracking code uses ammounts excluding tax - Be sure you use the right values for si, oa, om. Your Daisycon channelmanager will provide the right values for your affiliate marketing campaign
