Magento Solution Partners are experienced and successful providers of ecommerce solutions, they deliver complete solutions and support the customer after the sale. Magento Solution Partners play a critical role in the continued growth and adoption of Magento. Those who are committed and willing to invest in the opportunity will experience unprecedented success and recognition among the expanding community of users who have decided to use Magento and who need help implementing it successfully within their environment. The Solution Partner Program focuses on three partner levels and aligns the commitment expected from both Partners and Varien with the benefits that each will realize.
Our Primary Objective
- Develop a multi level program of strategic partners committed to Magento Enterprise Edition and capable of selling to and supporting large companies and more complex implementations, and community partners committed to serving the small and medium business opportunity
- Enable Solution Partners to become Varien's primary sales and service delivery channel allowing Varien to focus on developing great solutions, supporting customer and community needs, and helping partners be successful.
- Build sustainable win-win partnerships that provides a healthy balance of investment and return for both Varien and our partners.
Solution Partner Levels
Enterprise Partners
Enterprise Partners focus on Magento Enterprise Edition and develop a relationship that is very
strategic to Varien. Enterprise Partners receive the highest level of visibility, support and backing from
Varien as they pursue strategic opportunities that are only available to Partners focused on and
committed to the Enterprise Edition. Enterprise Partners will be promoted in the market by Varien, will
receive priority placement on the Magento website, will be recognized as Magento Certified Developers,
and will be able to market and promote themselves as a Magento Enterprise Partner to pursue and
capture the growing market demand for Magento.
Professional Partners
Professional Partners focus equal effort developing and implementing both the Community Edition
and Enterprise Edition products with customers representing an exciting new opportunity to pursue and
win larger projects. Professional Partners will be promoted in the market by Varien, will receive
placement on the Magento website, and will be able to market and promote themselves as a Magento
Professional Partner to capture and pursue the growing demand for Magento.
Community Partners
Community Partners focus on developing and implementing the Community Edition product with customers but will also be able to refer Enterprise Edition opportunities to Varien and receive a referral fee if those leads result in a sale. Community Partners will have their company name listed as a Community Partner under the Magento Community section, will receive a Community Partner badge for use in the Forum, and will be able to market and promote themselves as a Magento Community Partner to capture and pursue the growing demand for Magento.
