Overview
Improves the accuracy of the catalog search adds a relevance sort in the results grid.
This extension is automatically included in version 1.20 Magento.
That being said, further development will be discontinued until further noticed.This module extends some functionality derived from hyteckit's Enhanced Search extension.
Installation Instructions
If you're using the default frontend package and default frontend theme, you can skip step 11. Copy app/design/default/default/layout/improvedsearch.xml to app/design/your_interface/your_theme/layout/improvedsearch.xml
2. Log in and log back out to allow the Magento permissions system to pick up the new permissible module.
Usage Instructions
The module will extend functionality of your core Magento installation.Configuration Instructions
If you've just installed this extension, you must log out and log back in for Magento to adjust the permissions for admin users to access the new section.To configure the installation, go to System > Configuration > TBT Corp Extensions > Improved Search . You can also disable or enable the improved search module from this section.
