I agree—the answer to this has been the “Duplicate” button, but what if you wanted to edit the product after all 30 different edits?

Wow...that is painful. I have hundreds of configurable products. This may be a deal breaker for me. That process is horribly tedious.

I am hoping this feature gets easier or the import feature will at least streamline this process. We have some configurable products that have up to 4-5 varients. For example: Billiards Tables, which have Table Size, Finish, Felt Quality, and Felt Color. To create a single configurable product the way magento does it, we will have to create up to 30 simple products batched into that one configurable product.... ouch!!!!
