Tiered Pricing Across Multiple Products
Standard Magento functionality limits you to offering multi-buy discounts on only one product. With our Tiered Pricing Across Multiple Products extension you can create discount groups with as many different products as you like and offer multi-buy discounts across all products in the group.
This versatile extension enables you to define your discounts in almost any way. It supports any number of price tiers, and tier prices in the discount group don't have to be the same. For example, you could offer a 10% discount when customers buy any 10 products from the discount group, regardless of their individual prices.

Answer:Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the questions.
1. Tiered Pricing Across Multiple Products uses standard Magento tier prices so they will appear in the product pages as they do now
2. You can still use special prices as you currently do in Magento
3. As in standard Magento, for configurable products, the tier price is taken from the configurable product and not the underlying products (i.e. associated products)
4. Catalog Price Rules will act as normal with Tiered Pricing Across Multiple Products, so any discounts are applied after the tier prices is calcuated. Shopping Cart Prices Rules are applied at the shopping cart stage, so after product prices have been calculated
