Visual Compare
This extension is guaranteed to work with Magento Versions:
- Community 1.5, 1.6, 1.7
- Enterprise 1.10, 1.11, 1.12
The Visual Compare extension adds a custom formatted compare products block to the category list views. This allows for easy viewing of products to be compared in a horizontal format. Visual Compare is also compatible with the Full Page Cache (FPC) feature of Enterprise Edition.
This extension sets the default layout view to 2-col left sidebar, but you can always overrite this in your theme xml. It also sets list view as default (rather than grid) as that view is more appropriate for this extension. Again, you can change this if desired.
By purchasing this extension you also have the ability to fully customize the underlying code to handle your specific business needs. Code is fully-documented and follows Magento's and Zend Framework's Coding Guidelines & Standards.

When I purchase extensions I need to take care as not all extensions will work through this bridge. I purchased Visual Compare after enquiring about it and i'm happy to say it works flawlessely and as expected in my complicated setup.
