CloudZoom
The Cloudzoom extension developed by QuartSoft it is the simple way to show the professional zoom effect on your product detail page.

CloudZoom 16 16I wanted to share a "bugfix" for v0.3.5 where the configured image size was not used for the default placeholder image. It means that even by configuring the extension with a smaller size, the placeholder image will be resized at 265px. To fix this, change L74 of the media.phtml file with $_img = 'lt;img src="'.$this-gt;helper('catalog/image')-gt;init($_product, 'image')-gt;resize($imgSize) .... Some investigation showned problem is that the original image to be hovered on is for some bizzare reason divided into 4 sections and zoomed in image on the right shows those phantom 4 images. Please provide me with a quick fix if you can for this. Tested both with ipad 1 and ipad 2 safari browsers.
