- - Nitrogento was stripped from its Sprite, CDN, CSS and JS minify features. Most of the templates in Magento contains major bugs in the CSS grammar, preventing a proper functionning of those features. 92% of the templates report bugs in http://validator.w3.org or http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator, we were too often held responsible for those problems. We decided to remove those features and let other extensions do this (or native Magento function), in order to focus on Cache.

Nitrogento 21 21Does what is promises... When I installed this module I was sceptic at first... but I must admit Nitrogento boosted the overal performance of my website. The function "self CDN" as Nitrogento calls it, is a great addition if you do not have the resources to setup a full blown CDN. We were not disapointed. The custom block cache and the reindex boost we obtained with this extension are a must. March 6, 2013Nitrogento Significantly Decreased Load Times Having used Nitrogento on a production server for one year, I am very satisfied the with the results. Page load times are cut in half. It took a bit of tweaking to get everything working, but the documentation provided helps a lot. Before installing, be sure to read the documentation and follow the instructions! March 6, 2013Excellent extension - easy to install and setup Nitrogento is an excellent extension. Full page cache is a must on any DB intensive site. We all know that Magento is a beast of a database but it does not have this feature as standard. Nitrogento offers just that. It is worth the price for that alone but it does a lot more.
