Huge Thanks I'm a mid level developer (on a good day). I was very impressed with the measurable lift this product gave my commerce site. We went from around 68 to 98 percent with a page speed measuring tool. There was an issue that caused one feature to fail, but it ended being my ISP's version of apache. I would not hesitate to recommend this product and company. April 28, 2013

Crashed Site Installed the plugin via Magento Connect and it removed the entire website header, was unable to login into the admin side of our website The front end css/js was completely removed as well had to restore our site from backups April 20, 2013

Powerful My site is definitely much, much faster. Still loads between two and three seconds, but it was between six and eight seconds before! Of course, I will be doing much more than this to optimize my site's speed. Perhaps I have to upgrade my server (shared hosting now). Thank you for this extension! April 15, 2013

Excellent extension This extension drastically improved page load times and is very easy to use. I think everyone who uses Magento CE should use this extension! The developer is very generous for putting their hard work on here for no cost. Any user who is complaining about this extension breaking their site should be testing new extensions on a mirrored copy of their site anyway and obviously make a backup at the very least. After ijstallign extension no folder present in lib just as /lib/gtspeed/win32/

I have downloaded GTspeed but not found any folder inside lib as mentioned in the guide like /lib/gtspeed/win32/ .As per the information provided GTspeed comes bundled with three of the best image optimizing utilities ready to be used.

jpegoptim is not executable

When I try to optimise the images, I get this error: "jpegoptim is not executable".
Permissions set to 755 on image folders and also lib/gtspeed. Memory is set to 128 in php.ini.

Am I doing something wrong?

Will GTSpeed create folder under lib as: lib/gtspeed/win32.. and list down all images here when click on Update Image Library?

It is mentioend that when you click on Update Image Library GTspeed will index all the images in the specified directories (specified in the Advanced Settings) and track them.Does it mean that Will GTSpeed will create folder under lib as: lib/gtspeed/win32.. and list down all images here?

CSS files are combined in the wrong order

Wow, not bad! After implementing, my site is much faster but, for some reason, the css is combined in a wrong order. By "wrong order," I mean that the layout gets changed.

When disabling CSS combining and enabling everything else, everything is fine. Still, my site is much faster.

Any ideas?

Gtspeed image optimization not work

Hi Gossamer
i will using Gtspeed for my magento store and all css,js minify work fine but GTspeed Image Optimization don't work.

My website running on windows server, i do not edit any default setting after install Gtspeed!

i will click "Update Image Library" button and allways see "All existing images are up to date. Scanning for new images..." i will try upload new image on media folder and try click this button again but don't work.

Please help.

Breaks the site

After installation, with proper permissions, the extenstion breaks the website.

I am getting the following error on clicking css, js links in view source. Means css, js files are not loading.

optipng is not executable

Hi,
I have installed the latest version of GT Speed in my development, When i click the "Optimize image" in the GTSpeed page it shows that "optipng is not executable". After that i have changed all the folder and subfolder permission to 777. But still i cant able to predict the root cause of the issue. Can you help me to resolve this issue as soon as possible?
