Okay store locator, a little lack of support for the API V2 issue
It's not the craziest SL you'll find out there, but it's plugged to Magento, and it will spare you the trouble of implementing your own SL / hand-made code.
The biggest flaw, IMO, is one of communication: the end of support for Google Maps API V2 was a huge issue for version purchased as late as summer '13 (as evidenced by the reviews coming from distressed users).
I installed V 2.1.2 for a client in 2013.
Front of the module relies on API V3, but back office and latitude/longitude detection still ran on API V2.
If you have this problem, here's the fix:
Go to : app/code/community/Unirgy/StoreLocator/Model/Location.php
and make your $url variable into this :
$url = 'https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address='.urlencode(preg_replace('#\r|\n#', ' ', $this->getAddress()))."&sensor=false";
And it will run again like a charm, no need to recode everything. :)

Great Extension and great support!
I've been using this extension for about a month. It fully supports the latest version of Google Maps API V3 and I couldn't be happier with its performance. Now our customers can easily find all of our locations with ease. Great support from the developer during configuration. I highly recomend it!

Doesn't support Geo API v3!
Google geolocation is now on v3, v2 no longer works... If you want this extension to work you're going to have to rewrite the whole thing.

Was working well
We installed the extension and it was working well and suddenly stopped pulling in the longitude and latitude details in. We had a look at all options but can not work out why it stopped working. Any one else experienced this?

This has broken my site!!!!
This module and the store locator have broken my site. I had to revert the site to before it was installed a week ago to get it back. It was working fine on the 3 day temporary license and when it changed to the permanent one it broke the site. I emailed unirgy yesterday and have not received a reply.

Works like a charm!
Purchased the extension and paid extra for the installation. I don't have a Web development background, so I figured it would be best to have someone else do the install for me. Support had a little trouble getting the Store Locator plug-in installed at first, but they eventually figured it out and got everything up and running 2 days after I made the purchase.
The interface was easy to use, and importing all my store locations was a breeze. The plug-in delivers on everything it promises.
Ideally, I would like to see more options like the ability to search by clicking on a map segmented by states/countries...but I knew that wasn't available when I purchased the extension.
Overall, I'm very happy with the extension. Support was very helpful installing everything for me as well. Time will tell if I run into any bugs/errors, but so far it all seems to be working great.

Why did you encrypt your code? It makes the extension impossible to override and not all servers can install ionCube...

You have a nice extension, but seems lacking a functionality as seen on your demo. What if I would like to add an associated product to a store and be able to search it in the map. Can this be possible with you extension?

Petar from Unirgy has really been helpful, things were rocky at first since we were upgrading from the old free version, however Unirgy's support has really stepped up and helped out. Thank you!!!!!

Thank you for developing this great extension! We have been using Store Locator on a Mage v1.4 store for a couple years and love it.
We are considering upgrading our store from v1.4 to v.1.6.1, or maybe v1.7. Is the extension compatible with either of these versions?
Also, you mention that a new version is coming out soon. What is your timeframe for releasing the new version? And what new features and improvements can we expect from this upcoming release?
