Hi, it is working fine with paypal express checkout, but I got issue with PayPal standard. surcharge will disappear after checkout page redirect to paypal website. Magento ver. 1.7.0.1 Need Help! Cheers October 7, 2012

Everythting works great, except one thing. When i create an invoice. It uses a wrong subtotal. FoomanSurchargeTaxAmount is added to the subtotal. Is this a bug? July 23, 2012

Hi Fooman, I know that you have partially answered this before but I wanted to check again as it was a few months ago... We use Ebizmarts Sage Pay Suite and OneStepCheckout do you know if your Surcharge extension would work in this environment to implement a percentage surcharge for using AMEX? Thanks in advance! I have used the surcharge extension for over a year and I have to say that it is a fabulous extension. No gripes from me in terms of functionality. I did discover some bugs in the past year but Kristof was very responsive and was able to fix the problems pretty quickly. I highly recommend this module. BUT I need to make one BIG, important disclaimer. I just got notified by my bank that it is against my user agreement with Visa and Mastercard to do a surcharge on purchases with those cards. No problems with Discover/AMEX, only Visa/Mastercard. We are about to get charged $5000 unless we stop using the surcharge for Visa/Mastercard purchases. Ouch. I am in Texas, USA where it is against the agreement. Other US states may not have the same restriction... and I have no idea about other countries. But I just wanted to warn everyone so you can do your own due diligence. This link might be old, but it has some good info. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/723060.html. This extension s highly recommendable. It works great but i discovered some minor issues. Fooman is really very fast with his support ( even on a Sunday :-) )and tweaked surcharge especially for me. THUMBS UP May 24, 2010

Can Fooman Surcharge detect if a specific coupon code was used, and then apply a surcharge based on the coupon code used?

For example, we want to do a Groupon deal where the customer purchases a $20 coupon code for $10.

When the customer purchases the code, no tax is applied (this is how Groupon does it).

We want to be able to tax the customer based on the face value of their Groupon. So in this case the tax would be 15% of $10, or $1.50.

If their Groupon code was applied to their order, $20 would be subtracted and a surcharge tax of $1.50 would be added.

Some might suggest just subtracting $1.50 from the coupon code value, but we would like to keep the tax separate to be able to see it in the system and remit it to the government.

Please let me know f this is possible!
