Basic Store Pickup Shipping Module
2008-11-07 17:08:16 A super basic shipping module for store pickup. Supports Fixed handling fee or Percentage. No real bells or whistles! We would have released this GPL or a different Free license, however we ran into two issues 1) We hold a strong belief in Beerware and it was not an option 2) I really don't know how to build the xml file for a community extension- Reviews

September 29, 2011This modules does not hide the delivery address so there is no point having free pick up. it is waste of money for me. March 20, 2011Ran into an issue with Taxes on this module. Since on the onepage checkout "billing info" comes prior to selecting the "shipping method" Someone can checkout, enter billing info that triggers no shipping tax, select one-page checkout. But if they are picking up at the store - they should be paying the local tax rate. Should add a hook to use the store default tax rate when pickup at store is selected. April 13, 20101-3 of 3- Q&A

We are using this for a printing company so they need to receive payment prior to producing the printed product.
