Meanbee Royal Mail Domestic and International Shipping 15 15Good, but not great I'm basing this review on my use of this module on a live website, whilst it is a good module there are some basic postal rates which are wrong and others which are missing. The following methods are missing: 2nd Class Letter 2nd Class Large Letter 1st Class Recorded Large Letter Special Saturday Delivery The following methods I have found to be calculating incorrectly: Airsure (Up to 41GBP Insurance) International Signed For I understand that this module is free and do appreciate the work the developer has put into it. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and customizing the missing delivery methods. What I don't like is the international calculations are adding up wrong - this has probably cost me £50.00 since the postal updates. Of course it's my fault for not checking the rates were correct so I'm not complaining.. more voicing my opinions on how I feel about this module April 12, 2013Meanbee Royal Mail Had a problem when I installed the update, but 1 email and a phone call sorted in 5 mins. Was even updated to the latest 2013 price structure. Chris Hull, UK April 3, 2013Fantastic Service! The guys at Meanbee are simply awesome. Postage rates change as of 1st of April so this morning (29th) I asked them if a new version was planned. They came back quickly saying that they were just finishing it and testing it and that it should be available later today. Lo and behold a few hours later I get an email from them following up to say that they are done and it is up on the Magento Connect site (of course stressing that I need to make sure I test it first) The update went in smoothly and worked first time. The only change I had to make was that we have smallish items and so I changed the prices for the parcels up to 2kg from medium parcel prices to small parcel prices. Absolutely brilliant! Even though this is a free extension they fixed my issue within a coupe of hours which I am very appreciative of. Thanks again! The only problem is that I can't seem to run it under compilation without getting an error message when on the postage function. This is the error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function setStore() on a non-object in /home/kamutef/public_html/includes/src/Mage_Shipping_Model_Shipping.php on line 193 I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with disabled cache and compilation etc., but so far have had no luck.
