Canada Post Shipping (Sellonline Version)
Attention
Canada post has introduced a new set of web services. I have created a new shipping module that communicates with these new services. It is available here http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/catalog/product/view/id/14651/
I have found out (Sept 4 2012) that Canada Post is no longer providing new account numbers for the sellonline service that this module uses.
(P.s. This change affects other Canada Post shipping modules as well)After this module is installed you can request quotes from canada post sellonline system

Feature list
- Storage of sellonline information
- Easy setup process
- Easy configuration / setup process
- Add ability to view number of boxes to ship and contents of each box
- Orders from backend may use "Free" shipping method
- Ability to ship products as sized. Ship the product without having to define a box for it on the sellonline site
- Configurable language English / French to show shipping details (front end only).
- Ship from location. Have the ability to define a different shipping address other then the stores
- Identified and resolved SimpleXML bug in PHP caused canada post to error if name contained an & symbol
- Ability to specify a minimum shipping price
- Ability to store canada post (XML) response in the database.
- Ability to choose wether or not error messages returned from Canada post are displayed
Version 1.4 new features
This new edition is fully backward compatiable without any configuration changes- Ability to define default dimensions for products without any.

For anyone out there running Magento 1.7 at this point in time, you need the v1.4 beta of this module. Contact the developer. I recommend this module, excellent support. June 19, 2012I bought this module after experiencing problems with the other module by CollinsHarper. The developer of this Canada Post module is Notzippy, and he did a fabulous job providing support that got me up and running with his module. It has definitely improved the experience for my customers and it has also helped manage shipping costs more accurately. Great module, excellent support from the developer. I'm very pleased.
