ASPerience DeleteOrders
In Magento, you can't delete orders. This extension allows to delete : 1) selected sales orders without any invoice/shipment/credit memo => level 1 2) selected sales orders and linked invoices, shipments and credit memos => level 2 You can set the status of orders you want to delete in the configuration section.
Warning: It's preferable to delete only the testing orders during the development of your local website.You take risks if you delete Orders directly in your Website.

ASPerience DeleteOrders 57 57Great Extension Easy helper to clean up some testing-stuff. The last update brought the delete-option for "pending_payment" and now it's the perfect cleanup-tool :) April 23, 2013Works great. Follow up on my review below I wrote review "Not deleting anything but reporting it did delete ok" The issue was fixed the same day and with the new version 0.22 everything works great on my magento 1.702 the only thing i had to cleanup manually the get a fresh start before going live were tables: sales_bestsellers_aggregated_monthly; sales_bestsellers_aggregated_yearly; sales_order_tax; sales_flat_quote; report_event; report_viewed_product_aggregated_daily; report_viewed_product_aggregated_monthly report_viewed_product_aggregated_yearly; report_viewed_product_index; -- truncate thanks, michel April 22, 2013Not deleting anything but reporting it did delete ok Installation smooth via the installer. Changed Admin config to select all order types for delete. When i delete the orders in admin the system reports that orders/invoices etc are deleted ok, but all orders are still in de admin grid and also in the database. no records in any table are getting deleted for example tables: sales_flat_order; sales_flat_order_grid; containt same amount of records before and after the delete. strange :) Magento version 1.7.0.2 with greyscale theme April 18, 2013Needed to manually erase db tables to clear backoffice Orders where deleted but they still appeared on the backoffice orders list....the same for invoices and shipments. how do we get this cleaned up totally so we can take this store live?

You must have something in installation that has gone bad or a module that deleted these. If you install magento on a fresh database you see these constraints.
You must delete lines in "sales_flat_order_grid", "sales_flat_invoice_grid", "sales_flat_shipment_grid" and "sales_flat_creditmemo_grid"
SQL is:
delete from sales_flat_order_grid where not exists (select * from sales_flat_order B where entity_id = B.entity_id)
you can run this before to list lines to delete:
select * from sales_flat_order_grid A where not exists (select * from sales_flat_order B where A.entity_id = B.entity_id)
