Bulk Category Import / Export
This module allows you to import and export your categories and sub categories and related category data like meta descriptions / meta title / meta keywords as well as if the category isActive or isAnchor, category description and category image. See Screenshot of example categories.csv file to view an example.

I am using both this extension and their bulk product import / export and expect they will be saving me many hours just on unnecessary data entry. February 7, 2013When I try to run the advanced profile for exporting categories I get this error: Fatal error: Class 'Mage_Catalog_Model_Convert_Parser_Categoryexport' not found in /home/heteroshop/domains/erosupplies.eu/public_html/app/code/core/Mage/Dataflow/Model/Convert/Action/Abstract.php on line 182 It seems to be a permissions issue but I don't know on which files I have to chnage the permissions. Please provide some support on this. Thanks! Support and forward development of the module is exceptional. January 23, 2013When exporting files with æ...ø...å.... included the .csv file ends up corrupted... And same problem when importing if the file is not 100% perfect... it still imports and makes my structure crash. I assume the issue is really about exporting charset and importing charset using the encoding iso-8859-1. I am using OpenOffice to export the .csv file.
