AJAX Image Uploader

Not a big fan of standard flash image uploader? Looking for a fast and easy way to upload product images? Well, you guessed it - there is a solution :). Now you can just drag pictures from the file browser on your computer straight to the Magento product page and drop the images there. We did some experiments - it took us about 10-20 seconds to choose and upload 8-10 product images.
If you don't like or have no possibility to use drag-and-drop - feel free to browse for the necessary files and upload them with our AJAX uploader, which works a great lot faster than standard one. You can upload single and multiple images at once, using both ways.
Also the extension enables you to very quickly choose thumbnail, small and base images, enable/disable and delete images, change their sort order by just pulling them to the right position.

AJAX Image Uploader 2 2This is one of those handy tools that save you tons of work. I'm always wrestling with the default image upload tool of Magento. Either it gives errors, or it goes back to the default images, or it refuses to upload when I have a .htaccess file active in a development project, or... All past tense with this wonderful tool. Just drag your file, drop it, and it works. Thanks to the dev for making something that simply works. June 22, 20121. Doesn't work in Chrome (JS errors on uploading an image) 2. We've been waiting for a fix for over two months for the chrome thing. 3. Uploading and editing image preferences on the same page load results in the preferences not being saved. 4. Is is slow with more than 10 large images. 5. JS source is packed so it is not open source (no ability to fix bugs our selves) Conclusion: Negative buying advice.
