Product Description
The goal of this product is to implement search function where a visitor may select the Year, Make, and model of their vehicle(s) using simple drop-downs and then view a list of the vehicles or parts or accessories which will fit their vehicle.
Product Features
1. Filter the search result based on the values selected from a drop down list.
2. Results could be filtered from a single drop down selection or based on all the values selected in drop down list. For example, Client can hit go button after selecting just the Model drop down. This will help the customer to view the results if he is not sure what to enter other values.
3. This module can be easily placed within any of the CMS pages.
4. The product supports multiple years association of products. That means a product can have multiple values for the year attribute
5. This product can easily integrate with your theme and we provide full support for the installation.
6. The attributes are easily managed under Product in the Admin panel in order to use Magento standard search and high performance.
7. This extension supports MULTIPLE MAKES, MODELS and YEARS for a product. For example, the product "Castrol GTX 5W60" can be associated with Mazda as well as Audi models.

Kannan and Phavithra were very responsive, professional and more importantly, prompt in responding to my requests. My emails are responded to somehow in the same day even though there's a 12 hour time difference between us. This company is by far the most positive experience I’ve had in outsourcing my company’s needs! http://www.partsdrive.com March 15, 2012I purchased this module and now it doesn't work at all. I was under the impression that the selection made will be stored in each user's session, so that it filters while the person browses the store. However, that is not true. After the filter is applied, it gives you a list of results, almost as if you used the search. If you then click a category, you lose that selection. I paid extra to have them customize the module, and it wasn't done properly, so they wanted more money to make it work. Basically, I'm out $80 and now have a module that doesn't even work at all. I tried overwriting the files with the original ones to have it at least functioning as it should, and now it doesn't work because of the incomplete customization. I sent an email about a week or so ago and haven't received a response. Yes, they were helpful at first, but demanding more and more money for something that they broke isn't fair. Also, they should specify that it doesn't store the information for the user's session!
