Each franchise needs a purchase order numbering that starts with their city prefix and a number.
For example, when the franchisee from Houston TX places thier order, the platform needs the first Purchase Order to be HOU2000. HOU stands for Houston. The next order they place needs to be auto assigned HOU2001, then HOU2002, etc.
The Charlotte North Carolina franchisee needs thier Purchase order to be set CLT2000. Followed by CLT2001, CLT2002 and increase with every order. Each franchisee needs to be assigned a preset prefix and number starting at 2000.
Please let me know if current code can be modified to achieve this. Also please let me know some tips how this can be achieved.

Individual prefixes, starting number and increment rate can be used for each store view, website, for the whole Magento (globally), or different combinations of settings on different levels
If each of your franchisee has a separate website or store-view within your Magento, then you can set the corresponding prefix for each of the websites or store-views and the orders will be counted as you want.
