HOW DO I DELETE CREDIT CARDS FROM MAGENTO?
Protect your customers! Do not get yourself in hot water because you are not removing processed credit cards from your database.
With enough searching, you can find what tables the credit card data is stored, however when your store starts getting busy, the last thing you want to do is start deleting credit cards by hand or messing with SQL Code
I have developed a fully functioning Magento 1.3, 1.4, 1.4.1, 1.5, 1.6, 1.6.1 and UP!!! compliant module, which runs hourly (configurable) to remove all encrypted credit cards of completed and cancelled orders. Also, a direct launch page, to force the routine to run right away.

2010-06-10 12:11:17 Automatically purges credit card records of all completed orders. Just because the credit card is encrypted, chances are if someone can hack your database they can also hack your server which has the encryption key. Keep it safe, and delete all credit cards once you are done with them.
Installs using Magento Core API calls, including using the Cron functionality of Magento
