Order tickets

Order Tickets extension

This Magento extension add a system of tickets into orders. It helps then to improve communication between customers and after-sale service.

Features

  • Customers can add message to their orders
  • Administrators can reply to these message in BO
  • Administrators can change status of a chat
  • Different message can be seen in BO in a global grid, into orders and into customer account
  • Administrators can create new ticket directly in BO or delete it
  • Email notification send to administrator about new tickets posted by customers

Installation

  1. Install extension through Magento downloader or with pear.
  2. Refresh cache
  3. If you use Magento Compilation, run compilation process through back office (System > Tools > Compilation)
  4. For receiving automatically email about new tickets set correct email recipients in BO System > Configuration > Sales > Orders tickets
  5. You can also change frequency for receiving this emails by changing cron expression at the same place. By default emails are send every day at 2:42 and 14:42

'Last message date' would be very useful First of all, this is a nice extension with a huge potential. Currently, with ver 1.3.2, one can only see, in the 'Sales/Order tickets' grid of the backoffice, when a customer posted the first message in a conversation (grid column 'Message date' - should be renamed to something more descriptive like 'First message date'). A column titled 'Last message date' would be very useful to see when the customer posted his latest message in a conversation. I can't see the reason for a status like 'Pending answer' (other than as a note of the admin to himself to reply to that thread - which doesn't qualify as a status) so I believe it should be eliminated from the list of possible statuses, leaving only 'Open' and 'Closed'. It would also be convenient if there was some filterable flag in the grid (set automatically) that shows who was the last to respond to a thread of messages (ie a column titled 'Last responder' with possible values 'Us' or 'Customer'). Status 'Open' and last responder 'Us' normally means we are waiting for an answer from the customer. Status 'Open' and last responder 'Customer' normally means that the customer is either waiting for an answer from us or informed us that all is well and thus we can change status to 'Closed'. As an example of the above suggestions, filtering by status 'Open', last responder 'Customer' and sorting by 'Last message date' would give us a nice list of open tickets. BTW, file 'app/locale/fr_FR/Laurent_OrderTickets.csv' exists in ver 1.3.2 but file 'app/locale/en_US/Laurent_OrderTickets.csv' does not ( one can find it at https://github.com/laurent35240/Magento-Order-tickets/blob/master/src/app/locale/en_US/Laurent_OrderTickets.csv ) June 28, 2013
Already installed. functionaly in backend, but dont seen in frontend. maybe some file/place i need to change in my: non default theme. magento 1.7.0.2.? February 2, 2013
Clicking "Create Ticket" causes a 404 not found page to appear in v1.7 January 22, 2013

hi, installation seems ok in magento 1.7, but no change in my Front or Back Office template : no new menu in syst/conf/sales ... I refresh cache... August 20, 2012

Hi, Everything fine on 1.7 except when i go to update or close a ticket in admin i get a 404 error. is there a way to fix this? June 24, 2012
I have installed on 1.7 everything working fine except ticket email to administrator. I have updated the email address correctly and changed the cron frequency every minute ( * * * * ).. But i can not see emails coming in my mailbox... Please help... June 16, 2012

Hello,

I deleted the extension with Magento Connect Manager.

To completely uninstall the extension, which database tables I have to delete?
I guess "ordertickets_chat" and "ordertickets_ticket"?
