PayPal / Payment Fee
When we couldn't find an affordable and open source extension for adding a fee to PayPal payments, we developed one ourselves.
It provides the functionality to set different payment fee/charge for all payment methods that come with Magento. If you want to charge additional fee depending on the selected payment method (and don't want to add additional charge in your product cost or don't want to increase any other cost) at your Magento store then this extension would be very helpful.
In the backend you can fill in a fixed price or percentage of the subtotal to add to the amount the customer has to pay.

PayPal / Payment Fee 20 20Order Status: Suspected Fraud I was happy to have finally found a solution for the PayPal fee, and it was so easy to install-configure, it was shown immediately in the checkout process, but when we received our 1st order payed with PayPal, the total amount was false and the order status was set to Suspected Fraud (Blocked). I had to manually change the database tables trough mySQL to process the order. Afterwards I've uninstalled the plugin :( I did some googeling and there is no clear solution for the "Suspected Fraud" issue, which I've first experience after installing this plugin, but all the other users had it without this plugin. April 2, 2013Works with custom payment extensions too after adjusting system.xml I have created my own custom extension and added the 2 options to the system.xml and it worked like a charm, well developed. The fee should modify the total tax amount of the order, and does not. Total taxes, only consider shipping and items, not the fee, and should be included. Example: Product - 4€ Shipping cost- 6€ Total without taxes: 10€ Payment Fee without taxes:1€ Taxes (21%): 2.10€ <---- Wrong (It should be 2.31€) Total:13.31€ Also the fee should consider the shipping cost, and it does not, when it calculates the fee.
