Baseprice Modul (Basic) / Grundpreis-Modul (PAngV) /
The Baseprice Module (Basic) enables you to enhance Magento simple products with options to configure and display the base price ("reference price") for example the product unit like milliliter, gram, centimeter; the amount of the packaging unit, the unit the price should be calculated for and many other helpful options. This is required according to the German law (PAngV §2).

For quick start it would be great to mention the backend setting group or show it as screenshot here: System > Configuration > Catalog > Catalog > Baseprice Extension (on the very bottom) It was not clear to me that I have to modify list.phtml myself, since there is already a list.phtml in the base template folder. But it seems like it is not used by the extension (why is it there than?). I am not quite happy with the short units provided in the language file: "UNIT_SHORT_KG","Kg" "UNIT_SHORT_LBS","Lbs" "UNIT_SHORT_G","Gr" "UNIT_SHORT_MG","Mg" "UNIT_SHORT_L","L" "UNIT_SHORT_ML","Ml", "UNIT_SHORT_M","M", "UNIT_SHORT_IN","Zoll" "UNIT_SHORT_CM","Cm" "UNIT_SHORT_MM","Mm" "UNIT_SHORT_PCS","St" capital M is for Mega=10^6, lower m is for milli=1/10^3. Short unit for milliliter is ml, not Ml. It is not just about style like naming classes and variables, it is actually a semantic error. Now I want to install it again. All seems to be correct, but the tables hasn´t been created.
So I can´t see the fields in productbackend and not in the frontend.

did you follow the uninstall instructions to the last point?
If you just deleted the eav_attributes, you can not reinstall/activate BasePrice, since its attributes are missing. To resolve this issue delete the version info for this extension from database and flush Magentos cache afterwards:

I'm trying to show the base price labels in the cart and the order review form but it doesn't seem to work.
When I activate "show in order process" in the attribute settings, it won't show the nice formatted label, but if I deactivate "show in order process", the data for the label can't show up at all.
Do you have a quick & dirty fix for this?
Slow & Tidy is welcome too, though.
