Why use Shop by Brands on your Magento
Shop by Brand extension for Magento enables you to create separate pages for brands presented in your store and link to them from product pages, thus making it easier for your customers to browse and shop by specific brands. Instead of brands names you can use any category relevant to your store - such as manufacturers, artists, authors, etc. The extension can be applied to any number of single-select attributes simultaneously, so your customers can shop by multiple attributes. So, for example, you can have Shop By Brands, Shop By Color, Shop By Collection and etc. at the same time. This solution has been successfully used by a great number of major online stores for years and it's now available for Magento!

Shop By Brands 13 13Makes Serious Troubles with the License This extension has an extremely serious trouble with the licensing... for more than 1 time we changed things that are not related to this extension BUT the whole site required to be reverted to the recent backup due to a fatal error made by this extension... It gives you amazing possibility to create brand pages and makes your site navigation user-friendly. Their support is AAA++. Why does everybody complaint about their license options? If it's too expensive for you, don't buy it. Do you also complain in a mall when you cannot afford purchasing of expensive TV? :) LoL. November 16, 2011The price listed is not the price that 99% of stores will end up paying, because you have to pay way more if you have even a modest number of products. The extension is only half finished - instead of staying on a 'brand page' while you're browsing that particular vendor, it just runs a search query for that manufacturer and displays the results.
