“Share Tweet” is a widget that enables visitors to your website tweet about the site directly in a box displayed in the corner of the website, with a link to the site already embedded in the input field.
The widget is a unique opportunity for e commerce site owners because it makes it easy for users to share your site with friends while still giving them the opportunity to type out something cool for themselves and thus avoiding auto-tweets.
Great opportunity for e-commerce site owners to populate their sites as their quality of the products and site will lead the users to tweet about their site on the biggest social networking site and hence attracting many users to their site at a very low price.
Features:-
- The clients can tweet their views about the product and site on twiiter through the site itself.
- The url gets embedded along the text.
- It comes with the great feature that the administrator of the site can decide the url which is to be fixed or the url of the page on which the user is.
- It comes with OAuth so that the client gets automatically logged in to twitter if he/she is already logged in on some other tab of the same browser.
- The widget is highly configurable.
- The widget comes with very easiy installation.
CONFIGURATION:-
You can do a lot to customize this widget to your liking.
shortlink - If you can’t put a shortlink leave it blank so that the widget will take the url of the page on which the client is. Else define the shortlink so that the shortlink is present on the text the client will tweet.
Tweet box animation - How (and if) the tweet box should animate upon being opened and closed.
Place Holder Text - The placeholder text for where people need to type their tweet. Default value is "Type a tweet here".
Tweet box header - The header in the tweet box. Default value is "Like it? Tweet it!".
Share tweet popup denoting text - The text you want to place on the site to denote the like it? tweet it! link.
Explanatory Text. - The explanatory text found in the top of the tweet box. Default value is "No autotweets here! Write your own text about this site below, and the link here will automatically be added."
EASY INSTALLATION - Just merge the given app folder in the app.zip file and merge it to the app folder of the root magento directory. Then you can easily add the widget to whereever you want through WYSWYG editor.
