Please note: This extension is no longer maintained by the Magento team. It is provided only for backward compatibility and is not tested with recent Magento releases. osCommerce Migration Tool 37 37Poor experience I have downloaded this extension a few days ago and tried to configure it. I first ran into a bunch of errors. It took some time to fix all of them but even after that it wouldn’t work the way I expected it to do. I wasn’t able to move the database completely. It seems this extension wasn’t created to process large amounts of data. So, finally after several days of struggling with this tool I still can’t complete my migration. Probably I will have to search for an alternative way. As from my experience this tool wasn’t helpful, unfortunately. But the products attributes was not imported! There is a way for import the zencart attributes in the magento store?? Thank you!! I installed it in 1.6.2 and applied the fix provided by shaileshthapa. I imported all the products, customers and orders without any hassle (multiple stores gets created and I had to delete those). After I imported all the products, I got an error while reindexing Catalog URL Rewrites. So, I applied the following fix and got it to work but the urls doesn't redirect properly: http://www.westwideweb.com/wp/2011/11/08/magento-an-error-occurred-while-saving-the-url-rewrite/ Now, I just want to remove this extension from my Magento installation. Can someone please help me on how to remove this extension? I tried removing from connect manager and it gives an error and the front end stops working. Please help me remove this extension without causing any error so that reindexing the urls gives proper redirects. Thanks. June 4, 2012- Q&A
