Order approval
The Order Approval extension allows you to organize a approval process in your Magento store and restrict certain customers from being able to checkout until their orders are approved.
How it works
The extension allows the store administrator to nominate one approver per customer.
Any purchases made by a customer with an approver have to go through an additional approval step. Any items can be added to cart, but only approved items can be checked out.
When a customer tries to checkout, the extension checks for any new unapproved items and sends an email to the nominated approver. The approver can log in, view the list of items and approve the purchase.
Customers without a nominated approver can check out as usual.
Configuration
Account information tab in customer details page of Magento admin panel has IS APPROVER check-box and APPROVER dropdown menu.
- Nominate customers to be approvers using the checkbox.
- Assign approvers to registered customers using the dropdown.
- Configure approval notification email templates (optional).
