Works with most browsers!
For companies who have Internet Explorer browser users I would not recommend this product. Basically the sticky chat tab disappears on numerous pages during navigation of the site. This means you don't really know who is in the store, and worse yet, if you are chatting with a customer and they navigate to a page where the sticky tab won't display, you lose the chat automatically. Basically it is like hanging up on your customer!
Otherwise I like the product. We will use it because it was part of our Blue Acorn site development and changing to something else would be a change order. But long term I expect we will need to switch to something more reliable. If Olark can fix this (or cares to) I would change my review completely to positive.
I know this internet stuff is complex. But we should still be guaranteed the basic expectation of cross-browser functionality (especially for the popular browsers).

Perfect with Magento CE 1.9.1
This is extension is working perfectly on Magento CE 22.214.171.124 and the last CE 1.9.1.
As mentioned on my previous review you have just to add the Widget from CMS and that's it.
If you are practical with CSS you can adjust some extra in that way and not only from the Olark website settings.

Easy to install and use.
First, let me say I'm on Magento CE 1.9.1. Apparently Connect hasn't updated their website to let you choose the latest version. On to the review.
Really easy to install, but make sure you follow their directions. Note that you have to create a widget under the "CMS > Widgets" menu to get this to work (it's all there in the instructions). Nothing will appear in System > Configuration or anything like that so you might be scratching your head wondering where your new extension is, but it's there, just make the widget and you'll see.
You may have to refresh cache after making the widget.
The whole system (widget and in browser chat client for operator) is fairly responsive, easily comparable to instant messenger speeds.
You can adjust the colors to fit in better with your site.
Most of the settings are adjusted through the Olark website so after you get it setup the Magento side is pretty hands-off as far as configuration goes. This makes adjusting settings very easy.

Discovered this on Magento connect and installed within 5 minutes. Excellent and it's free. Work instantly and the messages are rapid.
I've decided to not use it on my site as I need my customers to talk together and not to me.
I will bear this in mind for later projects.

Have it in many stores in other platforms, also works great in Magento
Very stable and works very well across a variety of e-commerce platforms, provides an interesting functionality and quite painless to install in Magento. Specially like their "beta" mobile interface. Works well in a lot of client apps in both Android and iOS. You get almost the same functionality as in the browser based app. Their top notch customer service is provided through the same platform and you can see how it's wrapped out by the pros. Highly recommended.

Me gustó mucho la app, a pesar de que el proceso de instalación es un poco largo la explicación es muy clara, Cuenta con excelentes funcionalidades de trazabilidad de los usuarios y es bastante personalizable.

We just launched a new website with Olark Live Chat and have loved it so far! We have a B2C and a B2B website and are able to route chats to the separate customer service teams well. It's great that we're able to see the transcripts to monitor our team's conversations. I wish that we could route messages when we're away to our B2C vs B2B teams. The reporting is good, but could be better! Overall we have loved this and the support is amazing. I've chatted with developers at Olark several times, and they are super helpful and always help get my questions answered and problems fixed.
