Flagbit FAQ
This extensions adds a new FAQ item to the CMS menu in the backend. This allows you to supply your customers with answers to frequent questions or build a knowledge base increasing the customers shopping experience, reducing support costs and improving search engine ranking with your keywords.
Features
- HTML formatting can be enabled/disabled for every entry
- For HTML editing the new grafical editor can be used
- Every entry can be enabled/disabled
Setup
After installation the FAQ list is availible at http://example.com/your-magento-path/faq. You can add a link to the FAQ module in any static block or page like this: http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/"faq".

Flagbit FAQ 27 27I m using this extension in 1.6 . Thanks! The problem I have is that I ve made categories and questions, but though the questions are ordered by categories, the answers don't. The are messed up. How can I solve this? Thanks!! December 12, 2012Hi there, thx for this extension, we like it. But something important is missing - the FAQ under System -gt; Permission -gt; Roles. If you are not an administrator you can never add/edit FAQ entries. As a workaround i gave the shopmanager administrator rights, but this is risky. Please, can you fix this? September 19, 2012I think the most important functionality that is missing in your great extension is the "Sort Order". As I see all items are sorted alphabetically, and some time we need to have some other type of sort. Let say something like "Step by step" order. Plugin doesn't appear in Role resources. Any suggestions are welcome, wasn't planning on maintaining the faq myself:) November 9, 2011Thank you for the great module. After following the advice below, I was able to successfully get this setup and working. A few suggestions for future versions (most echo other people): Better formatting of the questions/answers, such as bolding the catagories and questions immediately above the answer. Add spacing between questions and next category. Indent answers from questions. I haven't even looked at the files, and should be able to edit them to meet my needs, just though I'd throw out these observations. Thanks again for this module! September 8, 2010- Q&A
