Overview:Getting reviews on your site from your customers is one of the best ways to help improve site conversion rates and also to boost traffic through the SEO benefits of creating great user-generated content.
A survey from Opinion Research Corporation shows that a huge 84 percent of shoppers are influenced by online consumer reviews when purchasing products or services. Consumer reviews are also significantly more trusted- nearly 12 times more - than standard product descriptions, according to a survey by EXPO (eMarketer, February 2010).
