Now i updated to a clean Magento 1.8.1 install. Tried to copy the files from old install, but can't get it to work. Could you please send me a zip with the extension files so i can manually install the module?

Awesome! Thanks so much!
I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews when this thing functions and works great--even for 1.8.1. Maybe it's all the companies that are selling the same thing for $120 and they want this free Magento add on around.
You do have to be familiar with Google Merchant center (formerly Base) and how Magento's attributes line up with Google's. If you do, no problem.
Great extension! Thanks!

It took me 3 hours of reading the merchant api documentation, looking at the configuration screens, tweaking settings and reviewing notifications & the merchant API dashboard before I got this working - but now that it's up it works great!
Catalog > Google Content > Manage Attributes
You have to setup attributes for the attribute set that is listed for your products on the items, which you can figure out by looking at the `Attrib. Set Name` column on the Items page (Catalog > Google Content > Manage Items).
The required attributes must be mapped, the trickiest part of this is identifying the SKU (mpn), Brand and or UPC (gtin). I ended up creating a custom attribute for the brand and used the sku for the mpn.
It's also quite useful to refer to the google merchant API Dashboard once you start attempting to add products - the plain Jane text is replace by a flash dashboard with very helpful information once you start making api calls to your account.

Product submission selection options
I've used this extension for a few months now and find it extremely useful.
I would like to suggest one improvement, the option to filter products by 'availability' prior to submission.
Submitting products that are listed 'Out of Stock' slows or even halts the submission process with Google Merchant and are rejected by them.
This option to filter would vastly improve the functionality and speed up the process of submissions.
Otherwise a great extension.

I have just launched my store at the following
and would desperately love to use your Google API shopping extension which I have used ucessfully on other sites.
I have installed it, cleared caches, re-indexed etc etc, but when I click the Sales > Google API link in config I get a blank white page.
I have tried to contact you via support but receive a message to say you're not receiving messages?
Please can you help me with this?

No Support for Configurable products with Simple products
We have a apparel Magento store (1.6.2) and are running into issues when sending configurable products to Google shopping.
We are using the Configurable product with simple products configuration and it seems that the configurable products are not being sent over to Google. Only the simple products are.
We've added the "Item Group ID" attribute to Magento and are using the Parent's item SKU as the value for all configurable product and it's children. We also have it mapped out to "custom attribute, no mapping" in the Google API Manage Attributes area.
After checking out the API request errors from Google, it seems that the configurable product is being rejected because it's missing a "size" attribute. But in our store only the simple products have a size value ex: "S", "M", "L", "XL", and the configurable product doesn't.

We liked your extension very much.We are facing issue in your extension while upgrade our magento version. Recently we have upgraded our magento version from magento1.6 to magento1.8.We are tried to upgrade the magento version using magento connect. But while upgrading we are getting following error.
CONNECT ERROR: Package community/Mage_Core_Modules 184.108.40.206 conflicts with: community/Mage_GoogleShopping 220.127.116.11
Due to this error we are unable to complete our upgrade. So we tried to uninstall the extension using magento connect. But we are unable to uninstall your extension using magento connect. So we planned to uninstall the extension manually.I able to find the adminhtml files and etc modules only. After removing the files also, still the extension is displaying magento connect manager.
Can you give the extension package for us.I mean zip format. It will be very useful for us to uninstall the extension.
And also If your extension is compatible with magento1.8 we will greatly appreciate it.
We are looking forward for your reply. Please can you reply ASAP.
