Affiliate-Program 20 20Inmedias Affiliate module is a very bad extension. The structure of this system is not suitable for sites with more than a few hundred visitors a day. Our clean Magento shop has 3000 visitors per day and 20 active affiliates. At this moment Inmedias is making more then 18,000 queries every 5 minutes! And this number is growing every day more and more because Inmedias does not store data real time. But recalculate everything always from the beginning of time!! Every 5 minutes!! Our Magento shop is crashing all the time because of Inmedias. After we contacted the support from Inmedias they adviced us to deactivate the click count. Now we run on a half working Inmedias extention and still it gives ten thousands of heavy queries every 5 minutes. We have spend over two thousand euro on customer support and development for this Inmedias extension, but ultimately they could not solve the issue. For the record, we have a brand new dedicated server: Chassis: 2 Bay Hot-Swap Supermicro CPU: Intel Xeon UP X3210 QC RAM: 8GB DDR2 HDD: 2x 320GB SATA300 RAID: MD RAID-1 (mirror) Because of all this misery, we are now looking for another affiliate extension.
