J2T Auto add VA
This magento extension allow the store manager to setup some rules allowing products to be added automatically in the shopping cart.
This could be a good option, for example, while you set up rules like : Buy 2 get 1 FreeTo install, unzip the file under you magento home directory.
To setup rules, go in Admin > Promotions > J2T Autoadd rules.

J2T Auto add VA 4 4Fantastic product and support We needed a module to address the need of a recent change in our area regarding environmental fees. These fees vary between products and we had difficulty finding a way to address this. J2T AutoAdd module saved the day! We created products that are environmental fees and assign them to specific categories in our store. The module is HIGHLY customizable – in fact I can tell you that its versatility is under sold. J2T support for this product has been fantastic and provided us with the necessary steps to make the module function exactly how we wanted it to. Highly recommended! SR April 8, 2013This module conflict with Template Master Ajax Pro. And even if i disable Ajax Pro it is buggy. And there is no refund ... I finally buyed another module that work like a charm. Support by email was ok but this developper should test much more before selling. January 25, 2011Actually this module is just not working as said in the overview. Don't buy it before a real update ! Avatar Image Url:: http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/avatars/uploads/avatar_26081644I am looking to use this product to solve a problem of adding environment handling fees. These fees vary in different categories and from what I can see this will do the job.
So when a customer buys a screen from category Monitors, a 5$ environment fee needs to be shown in the shopping cart with the monitor.
Example: Monitor 100$ + 5$ Environment Fee.
My question is, with this module, if someone removes the 5$ Environment fee from the cart, can it also remove the monitor?
Its clear your module will work to add the products, but I just want to make sure that if someone tries to remove one or the other that they are both removed.

Note that the auto added product can't be removed unless you decide to let the customer this ability.
That means that in your case, the environment fees will stay in cart unless the auto added rule become false.
You will only be able to delete the main product (the monitor in your case) and as the auto added rule will become false, auto added product will be also removed.
You can even decide to use match quantity. If you add 5 products (in your case Monitor) and if you want the system to match its quantity for auto added product, environment fees will be added 5 times.
You can also create multiple rules in order to auto add different environment fees, depending on products you are adding for example (if they are related to different fees).
