Google Trusted Stores
Feeds not generated
I'm having the same issue as a few others here. I was able to get the extension installed and configured correctly but the shipment and cancellation feeds are not being automatically generated or uploaded.
My cron jobs are running and everything else in my shop works fine. I can manually generate and upload the feeds, but after uploading to Google both come back with a status of "No items inserted."

So we've had this thing installed for a few months and can not get it to work at all. Its installed correctly and our cron is working just fine for every other extension on our website which makes me think this extension is just defective.
It will not generate data into the feeds. The feed upload seems to be working fine however there is just 0 data going into the feeds.

I am running v18.104.22.168 & I have looked at all the instructions so many times & verified my user name & password & I still keep getting emails from Google - Google Merchant Center data feed file status on "Insert the name of your cancellation or shipments feed here.txt": No items inserted.

Okay, so I got the whole thing working correctly by installing the AOE Scheduler to generate our feeds and upload them.
HOWEVER, something with the cron job is not working correctly to "automatically" upload our cancel & shipment feeds to Google every night as it should.
Looks like we will have to manually generate and push the feeds every day from the AOE Scheduler for now.

HI... installed the extension, generated the feeds, google fetched no issues all went nice... Validated the badge on Chrome & IE9, but for some reason can't validate it on mozilla, I'm using the latest version.
Also cant validate the order success code, placed few orders and can only see the banner on the top saying it passed, but with no badge on the bottom, in the source code and I'm not seeing the code for the order success page, just the Trusted Stores Badge Code is in the head section.

A few references for feeds:
cron setup : Please refer to this article to be sure cron is configured properly on your servers and in the appropriate folders : http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/1_-_installation_and_configuration/how_to_setup_a_cron_job#magento_and_crontab
Permissions : As stated previously, make sure your 'var' and 'var/tmp' folder are set to 777 permissions. You will find this folder in 'XXXX/var/tmp' where XXX is the Magento root folder and NOT the server root folder

New solution! Using Efficient Order Export from Amasty.com, I set up export profiles to generate both data feed files with only the needed attributes. I used the built-in third-party data export function to get tracking number and tracking provider. In the profile, I had to update the date format to just use "Y-m-d". Then I set up Google Merchant Data Feeds to fetch these csv files on a schedule (have to modify settings to "Use Quoted Fields").

Hey i made step-by-step video how to install. You can see it on youtube video.
Because cron jobs does not work correct, we used AOE Scheduler extension.

Man this process is not simple. I managed to install the extension but the data feeds are not being generated. I read about two cron jobs that need to be running, and I had one manually set up but can't find details about this second cron job. All other tasks are completed, but I don't even see the order cancelation and order shipment data feed documents in Magento. A step by step for manually setting up those cron jobs and getting those files generated would be really helpful.
