To make sure your customers pay on time, Kinento's Order Reminders module provides you with an automatic reminder email based on order statuses. The module gives you an overview of all orders that are waiting for payment, including data on the amount of sent reminders. With invoice or proforma attachments, a multiple-fase reminder system and different settings for prepaid or onaccount customers, Order Reminders provides the wanted functionality for any webshop.
Two modules
Customers of Order Reminders get access to Invoice Reminders for free. Invoice Reminders is similar to Order Reminders, but is based on the status of invoices instead of the status of orders.
Email templates
Three templates for a first, second, and for further reminder emails are provided, including all relevant order data. Additionally, the templates are customizable from within Magento (Transactional Emails), allowing to incorporate your wishes and represent your webshop's unique style.
Attachment support
Depending on your decisions, customers might be able to pay in advance or after shipment. Order Reminders therefore supports both the attachment of a proforma document or an invoice. Options are available to indicate which customer groups will receive which attachment.
Order Reminders: since 2009
With over 100 customers of the module, Order Reminders has been customized, fine-tuned, and updated since its first version in 2009. It includes wide compatibility, added functionality, and many configuration options, all part of customer's feature requests since 2009.
Main features of Order Reminders
General:
- Sends one, two, three or more order reminders to customers.
- The interval to send reminders can be configured as whished.
- Suports a cronjob to fully automate Order Reminders.
- Full support for different storeviews/stores.
- Orders can be automatically canceled after a given amount of days.
Email templates:
- Three example reminder emails are supplied.
- Through Magento transactional emails, reminder emails can be adjusted from within Magento.
- Different emails can be send for the first, second, and for the other reminders.
Different groups of customers:
- Groups of customers using on-account payments can be specified.

Excellent extension
I needed an extension that allows me to implement a typical wholesale purchase scenario:
a) A wholesale customer orders goods.
b) Wholesale customers order gets approved, sent invoice and goods are shipped.
c) The order is in pending payment state.
d) If the wholesale customer doesn't pay on payment terms, administrator receives a notification email warning him on this.
The extension provided 80% of features I needed: further diversification of customer groups to "on account" and "prepaid" customers, triggering notification emails only to "on account" customers, standard backend grid layout to track all order notifications...
In addition to that, I still needed to poke around and customize for the client a few additional features and I can say that the code is just beautifully written - meaning it's perfectly formatted (which I find important for readability) and very well (logically) organized so you'll have no trouble finding your way around it.

Great and professional extension!
Saves us a lot of time. The customer is now automatically informed about the order and payment. Almost all customers will pay after receiving the order reminder.

It's a great extension that made me save a huge amount of hours. In Brazil we work with offline payment and customers ended up forgetting to make the payment. Now half the time the customer is informed about your order. Has recovered a huge amount of requests that would likely be canceled without the reminder.
For customers who do not wish to make a payment performs the automatic cancellation after the deadline that I set up an e-mail requesting feedback and have a new opportunity to recover the order.
The extension is awesome and has helped me a lot.

This extension should send a notification in hours, but the minumum config possible is to set it to send and notification in one day

This is a great extension. We have many customers who place an order, which is never paid (either before or after delivery). Using this module, automatic reminders are sent, which saves us time, and it optimizes our cash flow because customers pay earlier. We needed some customization because we use a lot of extensions, but this was not a problem at all, it works just perfect. Thanks!
