May 22, 2013Good improvement The functions of the standard magento newsletter are very limited. With Advanced newsletter I finally was able to manage my newsletter easily and fast. Above all, it allows me to create and manage lists. Through integration with Market Segmentation Suite I was able to generate these lists as I have always wanted! March 28, 2013Since just released Advanced Newsletter v.2.3, you have a possibility to test the connection with MailChimp and your customers can unsubscribe from a specific segment. December 6, 2012I have to say that for what this product costs, it is unpolished and buggy. Support was ok, not as bad as some have claimed. But why use this product? The free Mailchimp extension is a much better product than this and their support is very responsive. In addition, this module installs what seems like a thousand files. It is a bear to remove it and while you can deactivate it as per their instructions, it still has some lingering effects on your store. October 24, 2012Like others it seems, our experience with aheadWorks has also been very poor indeed. We purchased their aheadWorks Advanced Newsletter extension but our web developers could not get to work. Our web developers have been very good with everything else they've done for us, but said that only aheadWorks could fix it. We asked aheadWorks to fix the issues but they couldn't (or didn't). We gave aheadWorks extra time to fix the extention, and we were very patient indeed, but after more than 3 months of trying their Advanced Newsletter extension still wasn't working. All along the service and communication we've received from aheadWorks has been very poor indeed. It seems to take aheadWorks days and days to do anything at all, and then when they did get back to us they still haven't fixed the problem. So we finally decided to give up and ask aheadWorks for a full refund for the extension, as we've had no use from it whatsoever. To my utter amazement aheadWorks have now had the nerve to say that they won't give us a refund because the 15 days trial period has expired!? This was the quickest response we've had from aheadWorks so far, by a long way, and their response seemed very well rehearsed. They have even claimed that they are unable to give us a refund: "At the current moment the refund is not even possible technically." This tells you something about this company and their technical abilities! We are extremely disappointed and could not recommend aheadWorks or this extension to anyone. March 14, 2012Advanced Newsletter v.2.1 is packed with new features for getting the most out of your email marketing strategy. February 14, 2012Advanced Newsletter has been updated to v.2.0.4. October 27, 2011Aheadworks' support is very very slow (waiting more than a week for a reply). Buying from a company that sells Over-priced extensions I expect decent support. January 9, 2011The extension is good (at least its goals) but it has bugs related with widgets (they simply had stoped working after install!). Aheadworks takes too long to give an answer to posted tickets and this is not good for the business. Our customers usually don't like to wait for so long. July 8, 20101-10 of 10- Q&A
