FAQs Categories
FAQs + Product Questions extension has been equipped with additional features to provide a better service to its users. The extension allows you to create different categories from the back end. Then an unlimited number of FAQs can be added to these categories which helps the users to search for their questions in a better way. This extension is specially more preferable for those websites who have a lot of FAQs and aims to keep the website user-friendly and give the best service.
FAQs
The Front End of the Magento FAQ Extension is equipped with various frequently asked questions, and answers to those questions which generally arise among your website viewers. All you have to do is click on the question and the answer will be exhibited.
FAQs Left/Right Nav
The front end show-cases the FAQ categories that have been created to help your customers to search for questions more conveniently. They only have to click on the category and the questions that have been added to the category will be displayed. Click on any of those questions and it will exhibit the answer to that question. You can add as many categories as you want. A view all topics link can also be added to the navigation tab. Also, you can search different FAQs in the search tab added to the navigation section.
Product Questions
Another dandy feature that has been added to the FAQs + Product Questions extension is that a Product FAQs section has been added to the product detail page which enables your customers to visit the page and, just by a simple click on the Ask Question tab, they can post any question to you which will be displayed on the page. This will help other customers to learn from your answer who are on your website when a question is posted. To keep the website safe from spamming a Security Code has also been deployed which has to be stated before submitting a question.
1 - MANAGE FAQ TOPICS
FAQs Topics Grid
- Shows the FAQ Id, Title, Identifier, Order, Status and a link to Edit the FAQs
- Change Status or delete by selecting from the grid and selecting the Action
Export to CSV
- You can Export the FAQs to a CSV or XML file
- Select the type of file you would like to Save As and Click on Export
Add FAQs Topics
- Title
- SEO URL identifier
- Store Views
- Status
- Show Order
2 - MANAGE FAQs
FAQs Grid
- Shows the FAQs Id, Title, Topic, Question Type, Status and a link to Edit the FAQs

Apply to Products
The FAQs that have been added from the Add FAQs page can be applied to products by selecting them from the list given on the Apply to Products Page. Those FAQs will be displayed on the Product Detail Page in order to categorize the FAQs.
3- CONFIGURATIONS:
General Settings
- Maximum Number of topics displayed in block can be defined by editing the text field
- Enable Product Related Faqs by editing the text field
Email Options
- Set the Send E-mails to option by editing the text field
- Define the Email Sender option by editing the text field e.g Customer
Support
- Set the Email Template(sent to customer) by editing the text field
- Set the Email Template(sent to admin) by editing the text field
Faqs Page Settings
- Define the Page Title by editing the text field e.g ‘FAQs’
- Set the SEF URL Identifier just by editing the text field e.g ‘FAQs’
- State the META Keywords by editing the text field e.g ‘FAQs’
- State the META Description by editing the text field
Search Engine Optimisation
- Set the URL suffix (eg: .html)

Great module! Has a nice feature in the admin of being able to add the same question and answer to multiple products. Which is a really good feature. January 16, 2013Bought a few days ago this extension. Had problems to install it on my theme. Contacted the support for help, I didnt check the install option for 35 USD. OK, I'd like to pay 35 USD for installing it but they never answered. I payed another company to install this 3rd party extension. They did it very well, dont trust FME!!! December 20, 2012Product Questions 2.0 released. Great new Features! June 7, 2012Works great on 1.6.1. Like this extension, it does what it says and works well. When a customer leaves a question the site emails me, and when I leave an answer it emails the customer. I can tie the answers to products, or put them into topics on the FAQ page. Customer support has been very good. We had a few small changes made and the company was ALWAYS quick to respond and very accurate with their changes.
