Full Product Search: Search for products just like a customer would and display the results in the products grid. This is extremely handy when helping a customer find a product. To clear a search filter, click on "Reset Filter".
Grid Row Highlighter: Highlight a bunch of rows by dragging your cursor over the rows while holding CTRL. Each highlighted row will be checked off. This will apply to all grids (including the catalog grid).
Catalog Grid Thumbnails/Images: Shows product thumbnail images in the catalog product grid in a very organized and maintainable manor.
Persistent Catalog Grid Settings: Set the default page size, default sort, default columns to show, etc. The settings will be stored in your Store Config so you can save some time.
Mass Product Refresh: Loads and saves a bunch of products. This was built to aid in addressing a data inconsistency issue
Quick Export; Select the export to CSV action from the mass action drop down and it'll create a CSV with all the selected products and send it as a file to your browser.
Custom Catalog Product Grid Columns: Lets you select which columns you want to see in the catalog product grid. For example, short description, long description, custom attributes, etc. You will also be able to change and quickly view product images thumbnails here.
Product Image Thumbnail Column: You will be able to view product image thumbnails in a neat column in the catalog grid.
Date Created Column: Choose to show the "date created" value for a productInstallation Instructions
This module should be fully plug and play. If you're using a custom back-end package/skin, which you're probably not, you should transfer over the layout tbt_enhancedgrid.xml and tbt/enhancedgrid templates folder to your own back-end package/skin. Make sure you clear your cache. Logging in and logging back out may also be required.
When the module is enabled you will see an asterisk "*" beside the Catalog -> Manage Products menu option in the back-end.
Error in config after install for Magento 1.5: If you are still seeing the error "Fatal error: Call to a member function setEntityTypeFilter()" please go to the releases tab and click on the latest version and use that extension key.
To uninstall/disable: To turn off Enhanced Product Grid modify the app/etc/modules/TBT_Enhancedgrid.xml file and set the 'active' value to 'false'. (note: Turning off module output is not the same thing and it will does not disable the module, rather it just disables output so you're left with a blank product management screen )

Enhanced Admin Product Grid 211 211Stay away on 1.7.0.2 for sure! I'm with Cicchellia - this module massively crashes a 1.7.0.2 site - do not use! Looked really cool on first glance but looked a little bit less attractive when I noticed the rest of my admin screens were getting WSOD... It doesn't look like this extension is being maintained going forward... May 10, 2013Issues with non-standard admin-URL It is a nice an very useful extension. Magento should in fact allow the admin to choose which columns are relevant in standard already. thankfully this free extension does the job pretty well. care and thorougly testing should apply after installation it is not enough to see it is there and works! we had issues with a custom admin url and Magento 1.6. When trying to bulk change a collection of products the extension always defaulted "admin/" in the URL. This should be fixed Thanks for this nice extension. i can recommend it if you _really_ need another product grid. P.S. The product lies on github, so the development process is transparent and issues can be posted. That's why i gave "Developer Support" full points even though i did not have contact March 28, 2013Worst support in awhile... Support didn't want to help with anything. It will break your system unless it is a very fresh install of Magento. Which most of use won't have. The support doesn't help with anything, which is strange considering they are the only ones that understand their software. Us at your own risk. Definitely won't recommend to anyone unless they are will to take a risk of breaking their systems. Good concept, terrible support, no updates..hopefully someone can get this right. March 14, 2013Killed Managed Categories field in Admin After installation I lost the ability to click "Managed Categories" It just gives me an errors that says Element ID "path" being used by another program. This is serious issue for us and we have thousands of products and they said there won't be any problems. Should of know to let someone else try an extension out. If anyone has any fixes we will be happy to accommodate you. Thanks. March 13, 2013Best Free Backend Extension I can't believe that this extension is getting a low rating. I have been using this extension for 2 years now on my live site. Had been using it on 1.4 and it is working like a charm on 1.7.0.2 (albeit a minor fix was required). Used properly, you can generate almost any kind of report by customizing the columns and then exporting the resultset in CSV or XML. I can't commend on developer support since I never needed it frankly. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is running a live store, and I am one of those people who are very picky when it comes to adding extensions to my store. Just make sure you backup everything and run this on a staging server before implementing in on a live site. March 4, 2013Not worth bother.. February 28, 2013Works fine in CE 1.7.0.2 Hello, It's not the first time i test this extension on CE.1.7.0.2 that works fine, no pb (i have to test all the shop for non-regression but it seems to works). Just one thing, i use the Flashpig_attribut_set extension for changing on the fly in grid products the attribut set of any produtct (very useful), and this application take all controls on actions menu and deleted the call to the replacement function for attribut set !! I tryed to re-install Flashpig after EAPG, but it is still overitten... May you have a fix ? Thanks for extension February 27, 2013It was working well before Magento upgrade Upgrading Magento from 1.6.2 to 1.7.02 started showing some odd behaviour. Lost product editing at all, but not so sure it was the module. After some debugging, I recovered product editing, but now the extension have no fuction. But i miss this, very useful and necessary tool. February 24, 2013Looks great. The only problem was after installation, when going to the Admin->System->Configuration gave me a blank screen. Here is the fix: Edit the file - /app/code/community/TBT/Enhancedgrid/Model/System/Config/Source/Columns/Show.php Edit line 10 from ->addVisibleFilter(); To ->addFilter("is_visible", 1); I am using Magento 1.6.1.0 Thanks February 5, 2013- Q&A

I'm using it with innowarehouse for multi-warehouse stock level support. I'm not sure if this is causing it but it's probably likely. The issue is that when I have a simple product, in my case a size and color of a shoe that's a configurable product, and I set the simple product to either 0 stock or out of stock, that simple product stops showing up in the admin panel. I can't find it, or edit it at all. If I disable your extension, I can then find it properly. Also, once I set it as in stock and qty greater than 0, it shows up with your extension enabled. But i would love to see the thumbnail ALSO in the
Product Information PAGE when you click on a product.
Why? sometimes when doing a "related product" i would like to see what i am editing to get idea of best suited related items. Can this easily be done or some code to add into the Information page?
