works perfect on my 1.7.0.2 with rackspace. might try to modify it to do CMS images too, and even JS and CSS files. October 2, 2012
I’ve been using your excellent Image CDN extension on my Magento 1.7 CE site since it opened, however after migrating to a new serer this week I have an issue with new product images. If I create a new product with an uploaded image and set the product to ‘enabled’, no image is shown on the store - the space for an image is blnk, however if I create a new product with no image the default white Magento graphic appears from Rackspace Cloudfiles. All old images are still served from Cloudfiles. My developers are stumped as to why this has happened, and setting the extension to ‘Current Adapter -> Disabled’ leaves my homepage with no images. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my business relies on frequent product releases and currently I am unable to release products! September 18, 2012
Hi. Thanks for this extension. However, I noticed how this extension only caches product images to the cdn. (in my case: S3). There are some images which I'd like to add into the product details. Is it possible to cache EVERYTHING in media/wysiwyg to S3? Thanks August 11, 2012
Works on 1.7 with Rackspace Cloud after this solution: http://blueclawecommerce.co.uk/speed-up-magento-with-rackspace-cloud-files-cdn-in-the-uk#comment-235 August 7, 2012
Woks on 1.7.0.2 but in some templates it might need to be adapted. August 2, 2012
Anyone try this with 1.6 or 1.7? June 9, 2012
This extension is currently being tested. May 18, 2012
This worked perfectly for me on a 1.5.0.1 installation. I am using MaxCDN. I applied settings to Image CDN > DNS-based > Base URL (pull zone URL), then General > Web > Unsecure > Base Skin, Media and Javascript URLs and all worked well. Thanks rashidraaz1 for pointing me in the right direction on that. Also, I setup a CNAME versus using the pull zone URL just so that everything was branded to the domain name. While not totally related to the plugin, but rather using a CDN, I found that server resources went down, which was my main goal as Magento uses quite a bit of memory. GTMetrix reports showed a ~5% increase. Page load times went down minimally. May 17, 2012
Hi, I have installed the extension on latest version of Magento 1.7 However I could not figure out how the automatic sync process will be done for Amazon S3. Can anyone help me out here. rashidraaz1 can you please let me know where did you setup the Pull Zone Thanks May 17, 2012
Worked great for magento CE 1.6.2. After setting pull zone and configuring cdn in magneto (setting in module ) you need to manually add cdn temp url by going to system->configuration->web->unsecure->base skin url(do same for base media and base js url)-> enter the temp url in format http://cdn.someurl.netdna-cdn.com/skin/. After doing this all the css, image,js will be now pulled from cdn zone. May 15, 2012
