We have just installed the CE version on our Magento Pro (Plum Tree Group, our original site developer had to do a few changes). So far it works great, especially thinking it is only $200. We origianlly asked a customization, before buying, to ahedWorks. We wanted to assign tickets not just sales order, but item #, so we could use it to manage warranties etc., but they will turn down any small customization. Bummer.
Regardless, the extension is gret for the price.

I wrote to Aheadworks, try to do the same, let's push them...

I signed up with SagePay for the simple reason that this module existed. I also checked with Aheadworks first that it did indeed work with SagePay. After installing the module on a working shop I found that it not only didnt work, it disabled all forms of payment. So my 'working' sagepay with non-recurring products that was unavailable as a payment option and customers were left with a blank page of no options. I contacted the help desk and now after 7 working days I still have a site that takes no money and even when I try to disable the module, the payment options are still not available. Aheadworks only reply when I get cross with them, and the only reply is that they are working on it. I advertised my website in various magazines and now cant sell customers anything as no payment systems work. All I want is a reply as to why it doesnt do what I checked out it did do, and when it will be fixed. Most of their other modules have worked well, so im very disappointed in their customer service,

Your Server http://ecommerce.aheadworks.com is down right now, and i cannot connect to my backend, getting following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function children() on a non-object in .../public_html/app/code/local/AW/All/Model/Feed/Updates.php on line 44
It is the second time i find this error,.. some time later it worked again, without changing anything. But know i cant still login to my backend.
Is your extension checking for updates on your server, or anything else, and it will cause this error, if your server is down? Please give me help to change this, we cannot depend on your server for using our backend... thank you!

Perfect except for one thing: If you have many products like us (15,000+) this needs to work automatically in some form. As is, one needs to go into each product page and manually assign each related product to display on the front end. What would be great is if it it would work similar to the merchandising rules that are already in Magento where you could say "If product is in X category, Match to product X". In this way, one could easily and accurately assign a top selling item at the category level and have it display in the FBT zone on each product page within that category. Anything in the works with this Aheadworks?

This doesn't look finished. Especially for $299. the calendar UI is unintuitive and non-standard. Mimic Telecharge (click into a show - the date/time screen is what I'm talking about) or Expedia date selection (or any other travel site). Customers expect a text box amp; a date picker.
Also I don't see any error handling or parameters. For example the "Please do not order more than 3 days at once." isn't enforced. Also, what about single day events?
This is a good idea, just seems to need a few more iterations before I could consider it.

Support was bearable at the beginning, but I haven't gotten a response after multiple tries over the past few months. Are you listening AheadWorks?
The database on this somehow got messed up. I am now unable to add or edit any booking products. Get a MYSQL database error. Can't clear my category or catalog cache either, due to database error. Purchased booking products are not showing up in the admin section. Lots of bugs in this, there are.
Common complaint of store owner and customers is that the dates don't show up on order e-mails.
The date picker on this is confusing to customers and almost unusable. I had to change to a different date picker with separate pop-ups for start and end dates.
