the "Use Full Description Image" function is chosen/checked by default in setting, and you can't uncheck it. You are not allowed to unload image separately for short description but have to share the same one with full description. If you disable showing full description image, and set show short description image to be yes, the selected image will not appear on front page. How to fix this bug? Thanks! December 3, 2012
I cannot display news in static block. Please who can write instruction step by step? Vitalis November 29, 2012
If you'ved just installed this extension in your Magento and you receive the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDFOREACH in app\design\frontend\default\default\template\clnews\list.phtml on line 73 This is what you need to do in order to fix the error. Find the page app/design/frontend/default/default/template/clnews/list.phtml Look through the lines of code and replace all instances of <? with <?php That should fix the issue. November 19, 2012
Great extension works great in v 1.6.2. I have one issue however which i would like to change. When i goto the news page from the frontend the page is on a secure page (https) my client asked if this can be a standard (http) page. how can i change this? is there a reason why the news page is down as secure. No news on frontend! I use 1.7 and I already copied template files to my template! Can't get this to work :/ October 10, 2012
Love the extension. Just one thing I am missing - in admin / news list there is no overview in which category news are. You have to first click on the each news to see which category is selected. But we have alot of news in each category and it would be very useful if there was additional filter for category, like it is for Store view for example. October 8, 2012
Everything seems to be working fine but the page i created in CMS with the same url as news "route to news" but it displays blank. I saw i'm not the only one with this issue. How did you resolve it? Thanks! October 5, 2012
