I don't normally purchase extension, however for the sakes of 2am I went ahead and landed on this one.
Three things to note; each subscription product type you make or convert (btw convert feature is two way, so you can go back and forth quickly) will have a subscription option to display or hide a monthly delivery date calendar picker on the product page, however the frontend code for this is not conditioned correct.
To resolve this, goto /app/frontend/yoursite/yourtheme/template/alw_sarp/view/type/*.phtml (respectivly) and change:
<?php if ($_product->getAlwSarpDisplayCalendar()): ?>
<?php if ($_product->getAlwSarpDisplayCalendar() == 2): ?>
Second, I couldn't get the product options to show up in our themes default catalog.xml layout (very possible due to the heavy face-lift we have on our theme), so I had to go into the /layout/alw_sarp.xmp file and under each product type change the:
<reference name="product.info"> ...
<reference name="some available catalog.xml block"> ...
Lastly, you can define different subscription periods that you can then select from under each product you setup. This allows your customers to choose 1 month, Bi-Month, 1 Year options on the product page you setup.
However, I was not entirely sure what this feature was for because once bubbled fronted of the product page, no prices ever updated at any point. So if we say have a subscription for a 10$ a month product and offer a year subscription period, the product remains 10$ all they way through checkout instead of 100$.
I think this feature is purely to display and support expiration automation portion of the subscription from the customers side before purchase. Feel mislabel as it seems too much like a price tier option... For us, meh no big deal as we can just lean into the actual product options of magento instead for price options.
These three things aside, this does finally allow use to have mixed product types and subscription types all be in the cart at the same time and purchasable (except cash on delivery) and does bubble up some great customer account options to maintain their subscriptions.
4/5 stars (yay 2am).

Great Module - Outstanding Support !!
I purchased this module on late friday evening (5th sept 14) and i installed the module myself.
However i had uploaded the file incorrectly and was receiving a Parse Syntax error when trying to view my subscriptions.
I emailed suppport for advice and had a reply waiting for me the next morning. I supplied my ftp details and login for magento and the problem was fixed by lunchtime.
Outstanding support and a very good module that very easy to use - the price doesn't reflect the worth of this module it is extremely good value for money.
Will definitely be using the creators modules again.
Good work Alex ( http:www.horneandco.com)
