1.7.0.2 Incompatible Installed plugin, however the feature does not appear in backend even after refreshing cache. Disappointed. June 4, 2013

Not working (vest of time) I don't know why people are reporting that this works in 1.7. 2 have 1.7.0.2 and it's not showing in the admin. The plugin is showing as enabled but there is no "Free Blocks" link under CMS as there should be, nor can I find the options screen anywhere else. Waste of time. May 29, 2013

It works on 1.7 but the alignment is not perfect, plus the settings of the plugin are not that useful. There is no seperate option for image,flash and text. Text comes embedded into banners. In short, it is a bannerslider with various effects... November 8, 2012

Seems to work fine on 1.6, and easy to implement. To bad though it only supports one block per position. So pretty useless if you want to display more than one block. March 24, 2012

Why can I not see the extension in 1.7?

I have installed in 1.7.0.2, cleared cache, logged out and back in. I still cannot see this extension's configuration options anywhere. Am I supposed to have a new menu item under CMS? It's not there. Is this definitely working in 1.7.0.2? Or could it be conflicting with other extensions like iBanners?

Hi,
The free version has no backend management or configuration. You just need to create static block with predefined identifier then the block will show up.
